Well today's blog is going to be all about tomboy style, for someone who likes to indulge in boyish behaviour it goes without saying that appropriate attire is required. Choose an outfit that looks easy but edgy.
We all know that jogging bottoms are relaxed, but in my opinion that's taking it a bit too far. It's more about attitude, switch your heels for brogues or trainers and throw on a baggy boyfriend jumper over a tea dress. Now talking of films my first film character crush was Annie Hall, I just fell in love with her style. A total Woody Allen novice that started my obsession with a masculine way of dressing, nobody ever made a pair of high-waisted trousers and a man's tie look as cool as Annie Hall! I had serious tomboy style envy.
A great refrence to follow is also 1970's men's striped shirts, tweed jackets and frilly victorian blouses, these will mix femininity with a scruffy thrown-together look, a laid back elegance is what you're looking for here. However if your tomboy style is more street then choose beanie hats, converse, old denims and slouchy sweaters to give yourself attitude, Skateboard is optional here.
