Something that our wardrobes simply, absolutely must have? Black, colourful or with prints, this is an item that you can very easily match with your other outfits. Forget just for the office its actually very versatile and that's why we love it so much!

If you want to have a super cool style,you can go for a jacket that's over sized, wearing it with a pair of tailored pants,( I seriously have a crush on velvet ones at the moment), and trainers or if your anything like me converse I cannot live without them. If you prefer, instead a more classic and feminine look, you can match any kind of blazer with a midi skirt or skinny jeans, without forgetting a cute pair of kitten heels.

So Inspired by this look featured In Pop magazine. I just love how they have dressed down that stunning sequined top with jeans and trainers for a more casual look.

Over the knee boots are huge this season and having just purchased my  first pair I must say I'm in looove even though I have to still ask myself, these? really? Are they not just for strip clubs? Anyway they look good and will definitely keep you warm, and yes kinda sexy too!

So I'm going to share with you a couple of ways to style them.

Go for leather patent over the knee or thigh high with cute little 60's dresses nothing to short or tight or you could end up looking like a pole dancer. personally, this is not a good look.

Suede will look good with 70's mini skirts and opaque tights, or black super skinny denim, just add a biker jacket, Kate Moss style, for that "I'm with the band look."

So now you can stay warm, stylish and , sexy in an understated way this winter.

With Xmas season coming up, there doesn't seem to be a weekend that goes by without me thinking about buying a new party dress. After all, every where we look the rich and famous are wearing the best dresses, practicing their best expressions and celebrating party time in the run up to Christmas.

Winter is in full swing, which means Paris Texas Vintage is off to find the best trends to wear now and into the winter season. For this I am heading to Manchester for a random date with the best Retro and vintage shops I can find! Now although brit pop and football may be credited with putting Manchester on the map, Britain's 2nd biggest city has another string to its bow: shopping!  And oh how I love, love, love it. I am heading northwest to discover an eclectic selection of retro and vintage goodies, and in the trendy northern quarter to check out the vibrant fashion scene. Today girls and boys I head off to the city of Cardiff to the UK's leading vintage fair Judy's.

Now if there is one question I have asked more than any other over my lifetime it's: 
" what am I going to wear today?" It happens to all women, of all ages and backgrounds. It's not just about the clothes, what about the emotional rollercoaster we go through everytime we have to decide who shall I be today? What message do I want to put out?

Our choice of outfit can give us freedom, make us feel confident, or rob us of our self esteem and reduce us to tears. So as I get ready today my only style rules are to have fun and adventure, it's not all about what you wear, but how you wear it. Fashion should not be about status, wearing a designer pair of shoes does not make us more stylish than the girl rocking a pair of really cool beaten up doc martens. So have fun  and experiment with your clothes, that's exactly what I intend to do today whilst trying on many outfits and buying really cool shit for you to browse through at your leisure at Paris Texas Vintage.
