Rocker-chic wardrobes are sexy, bad-ass, and just a little unexpected. Gone are the days of baggy, frumpy grunge costumes or ghoulish caked-on Gothic makeup. Nowadays, fashionistas who like to wear a rock-and-roll aesthetic mix fresh faces with one dramatic feature, then mash up over-sized men's shirts and jackets with skin-tight pants and high heels.

One of my favorite modern rocker fashion idols is Patti Smith I love how she wears tons of vintage tee's and leather, but softens it all up with undone hair and makeup.  and I love the way my model- mixes street chic staples with one or two edgy pieces this style in my opinion totally rocks in an understated way.

Here are some happy memories and photographs of my recent trip to Miami. Well the lovely bronzed skin and the sea salt in my beach hair has long departed and I'm now busy arranging my next two trips. Autumn in Paris and Christmas in New York.

Oh and did I mention enrolling for french lessons at the Sorbonne!

My love for converse is nothing new. It all started with the classic black and white high top many,many years ago. they are my go to shoe. they make every outfit look relaxed and cool, and best of all they are super comfy! plus you can climb trees and other cool shit in them. i've always believed if your into a good thing stick with it! and I have. So I wanted to share with you my obsession, they go with everything, and yes I mean everything couture gown included. This is of course only my opinion but trainers are totally acceptable outside of the gym - chanel and missoni say so...

It's easy to get excited about the big things in life. A far-flung adventure to some exotic place is amazing, but so is your everyday life if you let it be. Living an adventurous life is as simple as stepping outside your comfort zone and trying new things. One thing I have learned is that there are no rules for adventure. It can simply be a place you have never explored before, but maybe right on your doorstep. Ok so I live In a beautiful wild place full of promise but, Its the sand under your feet or the stranger you meet and chat to on your walk that matters. Make a list of things that you have always wanted to do, even if it scares you. Pick one and just do it! The weather changes so quickly in Wales, so I've decided its definitely time to wear all my favorite summer pieces right now! before it gets to cold to wear them without tons of layers.
Yes I know it's only July and while the leaves haven't started falling from the trees yet, Autumn keeps rearing its head. Now don't get me wrong I love the seasons and Autumn is definitely one of my faves but I'm not ready yet to trade the sunshine for cosy nights around the fire and, warm drinks on cold days.

Every year, before I go on holiday I find myself checking out tie dye dresses, fisherman's Thai trousers and brightly colored Aztec tops with tassels hanging off them, eventually emerging from the glossy pages of some or other fashion magazine as a hippie I barely recognize. Now i'm not saying I don't like hippies or tie dye but there is a lot to be said about building a holiday wardrobe that's true to you and your own unique style. For me this is always pretty girly dresses with some beaten up old converse, and for the evening some pretty flats and some classic accessories. It's always a good idea to borrow from your lover a classic white shirt that when belted doubles as a cool mini dress.
Finally keep things simple, holiday dressing should require minimal effort.

When I saw Chloe Sevigny on the streets, wearing a preppy uniform, a perfect little girl's look that made me think of when we were children refusing to wear these kind of clothes but that we end up loving as we grow older.

Having so many on your doorstep means they can easily be taken for granted, but I must say I am In awe each time that I see them and feel so lucky It's like I am on a permanent vacation!
